ASD’s Solution

ASD deployed two consultants for a three-month period at the request of the Division of Motor Fuels Tax (NC Department of Revenue). The two consultants hit the ground running by developing a project plan in consultation with the Division's management team and organizing a business process re-engineering (BRP) team. Gathering key input from team members in weekly meetings and in breakout sessions, the ASD consultants performed needed analysis/design activities and developed needed planning, analysis, design, and development instruments and documentation. Upon conclusion of the consulting assignment, ASD's two consultants delivered a consulting study of 200+ pages that included the following: 1) Current State Key Process Diagrams and Text; 2) Future State Key Process Diagrams and Text; 3) Preliminary Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's); 4) Management-Level Findings and Recommendations Report; and 5) A Phased Roadmap to Cutover of the Division's Processes to Zytax.
